St. Canice’s Community Employment Training CLG is a Community Employment Scheme whose main objective is to provide training opportunities and work experience to unemployed people experiencing difficulties preventing them from returning or entering the labour market.
Our Community Employment Scheme provides Work Experience and Related Training for our CE Participants in the following roles with Projects in Kilkenny City and County:
Eligibility to participate on Community Employment is generally linked to those who are over 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying Social Welfare Payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups.
Your eligibility will need to be verified by the Dept. of Social Protection.
