How we Work
At the heart of our service is the empowerment of marginalised immigrant individuals and communities. Our mission is to enable them to build their capacity to address the challenges they encounter in their everyday lives. We provide a safe and confidential listening space where trusted relationships are forged and we collaborate with others to achieve positive outcomes for our service users. Our Support Clinic is available every Monday morning from 10 am to 1 pm and at other times by appointment.
Who we are
We are a voluntary group founded over ten years ago in response to a deficit in support for immigrants living in Kilkenny. Our trained support practitioners provide a range of specific supports such as regularising permission in the State, applying for citizenship, applying for family reunification, visas, etc. We are based in Fr. McGrath Centre and are supported by St. Canice’s Community Action Network.
