Volunteering

VOLUNTEERS? YES PLEASE!

“Visitors are always welcome, but Volunteers are ADORED!”

Many of the services operating from our projects have long and historical links with volunteers who played keys roles in establishing these now professional services. In particular the Fr. McGrath Family Centre and Kilkenny Carlow Contact services and our St. Canice’s Neighborhood Hall project are heavily dependent on volunteers who provide or help run many of our children supports or older people befriending services.

Volunteers are fully supported by our staff and will be fully inducted and are fully insured against any personal liability and where necessary are offered training to help us carry out some of the vitally important services we provide to vulnerable children, adults or older people living alone.
