On Wednesday 20th of September 2017, the Third Age Fáilte Isteach achievement award was presented to the Fr. McGrath Centre, by Minister John Paul Phelan, for outstanding contribution to the conversational English language project. Speeches on the night were by Stephen Murphy Director of Services, Liam Carey National Programme Manager Failte Isteach, and Minister John Paul Phelan, Minister of State at the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government with special responsibility for Local Government and Electoral Reform, Carlow-Kilkenny. Click here for more details.
